V-Bank App
We worked closely with the Munich-based V-Bank to develop a customised banking app for iOS and Android. The intuitive and easy-to-understand app gives users a quick overview of their financial status, provides information on their securities accounts, shows activities carried out and gives them access to important customer documents. UMWERK will continue to keep the V-Bank app technically up to date and develop it further on an ongoing basis.

Challenge
The aim of the project was to develop a user-friendly and easy-to-use banking app that would have a uniform user interface in iOS and Android as part of a holistic digitalisation strategy. The connection of the application to the banking system and the current display of financial data also posed a challenge, as did the cooperation with various interface partners.
Solution
When developing the banking app, the focus was on simple and intuitive user guidance. Continuous testing and adjustments based on user feedback made it possible to optimise user-friendliness. In order to make the best possible use of the native functionalities, it was decided together with V-Bank to develop the app for iOS and Android separately. A shared backend synchronises the information in the background and makes it platform-independent. To protect user data, we used proven authentication methods such as OAuth to prevent unauthorised access.
