With the development of the MyStiebel app, we have created a user-friendly solution for STIEBEL ELTRON that revolutionises the control of heat pumps. The app enables intuitive operation via a graphical interface, quick adjustments through predefined scenes (holiday or eco mode) and significant energy savings through individual time programmes. Users can configure settings for heating, cooling and hot water via the home network.

The app development with the Qt framework presented us with several challenges. The integration of different device types and their requirements needed customised solutions. A user-friendly, intuitive interface and reliable real-time communication were just as important as reliable security mechanisms.
